2023 Date : Tuesday, Feb.7,2023.
Day 1: The fest started with the inauguration by the Principal madam and then a series of activities as scheduled were started. The theme of the day was black and white and students as well as staff were dressed accordingly.
The day was dominated by the culinary activities including cooking without fire, fruit carving and mocktail making. Treasure Hunt was the most awaited event of the day with the cash prize to the winner.
Day 2: Today's dress code was to don traditional attire. Students have dressed alike to represent various cultures. Bait Baazi, drawing, antakshari, and nail art were all scheduled events. One of the most well-received events among students was antakshari, whose various rounds lasted for days. The principal of the M.S. College of Law, Dr. Dipti Gala, was invited to judge the students' drawings. Her assessment of the young talent marked the end of the day.
Day 3: The theme of the day was either to swap your outfit with your friend or to wear a mismatched one. Some students dressed in incredibly unique ways. Among the planned activities were poetry reading, horror makeup, debate, rapping, and best out waste. As there were no restrictions on the language, some students were exceptional at reciting poetry in Urdu. The students loved rapping, which checked all the creative boxes. The honourable guest for the day was Dr. Nilima Kinage, Principal of Late Khatija College of Education, who was also one of the judges for the Best out of Waste and the Horror makeup category. The makeup abilities and acting of the participants in the horror makeup competition really impressed her.
Day 4: The Bollywood theme was the one that everyone was most looking forward to. Both faculty and students have dressed as various Bollywood characters. Students have given performances as the costumed characters. Events planned were dumb charades, mimicry, dialogue delivery, quiz, Mono Act and Spell Bee.
Dumb Charades and Dialogue delivery received an overwhelming response from the students. Principal of M.S. Public High School and Junior college Mr. Shailesh Pawar Sir was one of the esteemed judges for the quiz. His warm congratulations and appreciation for the students' astounding display of knowledge brought the day to a close.
Day 5: As part of the theme students were asked to wear denim clothing. A variety of activities were held throughout the day, including T-shirt painting, Mahendi, Ad Making, Reel Making, Solo Singing, and a Magic Contest. Singing was a form of art for some students, in which they sang heart touching songs. The esteemed guest and judge of the day for Mehendi and Best Out of Waste was Mrs. Guneet Jaiswani, Principal of Shoeb Urdu High School and Junior College. Various henna designs were applied by students, resulting in stiff competition among them. Our judge commended the students for their efforts
Day 6: The final day of the festival had the humorous theme of dressing as a meme character, so the festival ended on a joyous note. According to the dress-up, students performed a short skit. The activities on the final day included making memes, creating rangoli, performing stand-up comedy, and creating photography and Vlogging. After that, the annual cultural festival Rang Tarang 2023 which was one of the highlights of the year came to an end, marking the end of the festival.
